The limited availability Fresh Beef Beef box contains a full range of cuts, from nose to tail. The joy of this is that you can stock up on all your favourite cuts, from fillet and sirloin steaks through to roasting joints and burgers, at a more than 25% saving compared to buying cuts individually.
Right now our sustainably reared beef is being matured in our dry aging chiller, where it will hang for a minimum of 28 days to relax the meat to tenderness and enhance the deep and complex flavour.
All our beef comes from farms supporting rare species such as Cuckoos, Marsh Fritillary Butterfly, Heath Spotted Orchid, Merlin, and Emperor Moths. Please note burgers will be frozen on arrival.

Box Content
This wonderful box will contact cuts from the whole cow. The cuts included in your Fresh Beef Box will be selected from:
Rump Steak 8oz, Sirloin Steak 8oz, Fillet Steak 6oz, Rib Eye 8oz, Flat Iron 6oz, Minute Steaks, Olive Steaks, Top Rump Braising Steak, Rolled Brisket, Topside, Silverside, Skirt, Shin, Chuck, Burgers*, Mince Beef, Diced Beef and Stock Bones.
Within each box we guarantee at least 4 premium steaks (fillet, rib eye, sirloin) and at least 4 traditional steaks (flatiron, rump, chuck, Top rump braising steak) and 1 roasting joints (1-1.5kg each).
This box will vary allowing us to reduce waste and use all of the meat available. *Frozen on arrival.
The Wilder Farmer
Because each beef box comes from an individual animal, we can tell you about its production every step of the way, right down to the weather on the hill farm the day it was born and the different bird species living on the lowland farm where it was fattened up.
This animal was reared by Tim Williams at Erth Barton farm, on the banks of the River Tamar at the border between Devon and Cornwall. The cattle start life at Ince Castle. 100 acres of woodland and pasture bordering the mudbanks of Lyhner estuary SSSI, where hundreds of curlew, black-tailed godwit, oystercatchers and other waders appear each winter to feed on the invertebrate rich sediment. In the cattle’s second year they move to Erth Barton, which is home to over 30 wildflower and grass species, loud with the song of skylarks through the early summer months and, later in the year, of thousands of birds like goldfinches and linnets that feed on the grass and herb seeds.
Storage
We send our fresh Pasture-Fed meat boxes chilled.
When your delivery arrives place straight into the fridge or freezer in its individual packaging. To thaw remove your item from the freezer and place at room temperature or in your fridge to gently thaw. Minimum of 10 days fridge life. Safe for home freezing.
The packaging will be slightly different from our usual orders, we strived to keep as much of this as biodegradable or recyclable as possible, including biodegradable vac pack bags, recyclable cardboard and recycled paper, with the exception being the Insulated Envelopes.
100% Pasture-Fed meat has many health benefits:
o Lower total fat levels and a lower saturated fat content.
o Higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids and a lower, and healthier ratio of omega-6:omega-3 fatty acids
o Significantly higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) than meat from grain-fed animals and higher levels of vaccenic acid, which can be turned into CLA.
o Higher vitamin and mineral levels. Particularly rich in vitamins A and E, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium.
