Our 8oz pasture fed rump steak has heaps of character, slowly maturing on rich grassland creates deeper and richer flavours from the herbs, wildflowers, and grasses. Rump steak has a firmer texture than other steaks, meticulously prepared from the rump muscle with a plentiful amount of marbling. Dry Aged on the bone for 28 days.

 

All our beef comes from farms supporting rare species such as Cuckoos, Marsh Fritillary Butterfly, Heath Spotted Orchid, Merlin, and Emperor Moths.

Cook your meat

Allow your steak to raise to room temperature, pat dry.
Preheat a non-steak heavy-based frying pan on a high heat. Drizzle in the oil, add your steaks and cook for 2-3 mins on each side for a medium finish. Leave to rest for 5mins before serving.
Serve with fluffy triple cooked chips or seasonal roasted vegetables.

Storage

We send all our wonderful Pasture-Fed meat frozen.
When your delivery arrives place it straight into the freezer in its individual packaging. To thaw remove your item from the freezer and place at room temperature or in your fridge to gently thaw.

Where is the meat from

The mesmerising rump steak is taken from the lower back of the cow, a little less tender than fillet or sirloin steak the cut is a fantastic everyday steak.
