Pasture Fed Sirloin Steak

Our Sirloin Steaks are 100% Pasture Fed, with intense marbling which caramelises during cooking. Dry aged on the bone for 28 days to allow the rich beef flavours and tender meat to develop.

All our beef comes from farms supporting rare species such as Cuckoos, Marsh Fritillary Butterfly, Heath Spotted Orchid, Merlin, and Emperor Moths.

Cook your meat

"Remove your steak from the fridge about 30mins before you plan to cook and pat dry. Using a heavy-based frying pan heat to a medium-high. One the pan is hot enough drizzle in oil and add garlic or herbs to your taste, cook you steak evenly on both sides for 2-3mins for a medium finish. We would recommend serving medium-rare.

Serve with a summer salad and maple dressing. "

100% Pasture-Fed meat has many health benefits:

o Lower total fat levels and a lower saturated fat content.
o Higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids and a lower, and healthier ratio of omega-6:omega-3 fatty acids
o Significantly higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) than meat from grain-fed animals and higher levels of vaccenic acid, which can be turned into CLA.
o Higher vitamin and mineral levels. Particularly rich in vitamins A and E, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium.

Where is the meat from

Succulent, tender and from 100% pasture fed beef. This exceptionally flavoured steak is cut from the large back muscle attached to the spine, opposite the thin fillet steak. With a prominent beef flavour this steak is great to pair with rich sauces.
